In the last three podcasts we’ve spoken about the strategic side of marketing – covering all things from mindset to strategy. But today, we’re taking our conversation to marketing tactics – the actions you can take to achieve your marketing for learning goals.
Tactics can range from anything from emails, all the way through to billboards and TV ads (although we’re not sure the latter is necessary for L&D!) But what tactics are appropriate for marketing for learning? In this podcast Han covers all the tactics she’s seen great success with (and how!), including:
Email marketing. Despite crowded inboxes, if you spend the time carefully crafting your emails, you can cut through the noise. Speak directly to your target audience and get butts moving!
Social media. No don’t skip past this because you “don’t use social media”, because I bet you do! Places like Teams, Yammer, Workplace for Business and so on are a great place to engage with your target audience – utilise them!
Influencer marketing. No, it’s not just a tactic for Instagram celebs. Influencer marketing has a huge impact on internal audiences – if you get the right influencer that is!
So if you want to learn how to use these channels (and more) – and the skills you need to develop to implement them effectively, give this mini masterclass podcast a listen.
