Learner persona is a semi-fictional representation of your target audience. They give you a magnifying glass to look deep into your people and dig deep into their psyche, unearthing their motivations, emotional drivers, and pain points.
But don't just make up personas willy-nilly, they must be based on actual data and research. Demographics, geographics, psychographics, and behaviours are all important pieces of the puzzle. But truthfully, when it comes to L&D, psychographics are particularly crucial, revealing your learners' values, pain points, emotional drivers, and aspirations.
